4.5"After experiencing an awful setback with my preowned MINI Cooper S (Had to take car to the service shop over 4 times in 1 year and was left with a $2,000 repair just to get it back on the road), I had a decision to make in terms of trading it in for another vehicle. Ben Bedford really helped me through this process as I ended up leasing a new 2012 Cooper S and I finally feel like I have the car I originally wanted w/out the worries of maintenance and depreciation. Huge thanks to Ed for allowing me to use a loaner MINI as my original car was in the shop (they run a great shop too btw!). And also thanks to Abe for talking me through a few lease questions and Frank Cooke overseeing the entire process. This is why I marked all items Outstanding. It was a lot of money because it was just out of warranty (2 months) but after I explain my situation to Michelle, she was able to help me by contacting Mini Corporate and see what can be done. I ended up only paid for the labor. I think the willingness to go an extra mile to help customers are great customer service and I am sure I'll do business with Mini for a long long time." Even after explanation, I do not see how a slight bump into the parking barrier while parking the car 3 months ago would have caused the sensor light to come on twice in the past 3 WEEKS. 4.5"I liked the service at mini of the main line, and thats why I purchased my car there and I will continue to service it there. I live less than 5 minutes from Otto's, but you guys are so much better, that it is worth me driving 20 minutes more each way. I think there should be free inspections when you buy your car there, like your competition does. Also usually you get a full tank of gas after service at other locations, which is a rel nice courtesy. Your strenght is the fact that your people are so much more knowledgeable about the product than any other dealer in the philly area. I do not leave my car behind worried that some noob is going to gain experience while making my dash light up like a Xmas tree (like all my other experiences closer to home). 3.0"I did not have a good experience this week when I brought my 2006 Mini Cooper in for service. The amount, cost, and time necessary to complete the work exceeded my expectations. Both sets of brakes were replaced at a cost of over $800 which I think is too high. I was also encouraged to purchase two new front tires for almost $400, but didn't because I found two of the exact same tires for $140 less and have since had them installed. I was not made aware of the wait time which turned out to be close to 4 hours. Fortunately, I brought work with me that I could do in the waiting area but it still caused me to miss appointments. No loaner cars were available either. The printer broke so I left your dealership without a receipt which I'm still waiting to receive. For some reason I did not receive a discount coupon in the mail which would have reduced my cost by 20%. Thankfully, the service manager offered me one that took $100 off the bill which I greatly appreciated. Overall, it was not the best experience.
